John Liu is a co-founder of Aubridge Partners, LLC. He has worked with companies in a variety of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, and industrial products, to develop and manage supplier networks in China, to identify joint venture partners, and to set up China operations. Prior to co-founding Aubridge, John was with Lehman Brothers in New York and Hong Kong in Private Equity and Investment Banking. In Private Equity, he was responsible for analyzing and executing new investments for Lehman Brothers’ $2 billion leveraged buyout fund. In Investment Banking, he advised automotive and industrial clients on acquisitions, financings and corporate strategy. Prior to business school, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in strategy consulting. He focused on post-merger integration and advised Goodyear Tires on its joint venture with Sumitomo Tires.
John holds an MBA degree from Columbia Business School and a BS degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He was born in Taiwan and speaks English and Mandarin.
Tongwen (Tong) Zhou

Prior to co-founding Aubridge Partners, Tong Zhou worked in the M&A group and private equity fund of funds department at Lehman Brothers in New York and Hong Kong. Prior to business school, Tong was an engineer with ArvinMeritor in Michigan, supporting its joint venture in Xuzhou and helping the company transfer technology from the U.S. to China. Previously, Tong worked for an automotive dealership in China before coming to the U.S. twelve years ago.
Tong holds an MBA degree from the University of Michigan Business School, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai. Tong was born in China and speaks English, Mandarin, and German.
Zheng Ye worked at Seca Vogel & Halke GmbH as Chief Representative of China Operations and set up the company’s wholly-owned factory and sourcing network in China. Previously he was the Head of China Operations at Marquardt, a German switch company supplying the automotive and industrial sectors. While at Marquardt (Shanghai), he was responsible for both Production and Quality and led the effort to set up the company’s quality and equipment management systems. He also worked as Manager Assistant at Tongji Volkswagen Service Station. Zheng is an ISO9000 and QS9000 auditor. Zheng holds an EMBA degree from the University of Steinbeis Berlin in Germany and a BS degree in Automotive Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai. He was born in China and speaks Mandarin, English, and German.
Jinge Wang worked for eight years as the Head of Sales and Marketing at Marquardt in China. As Marquardt’s first employee in China, Jinge set up the company’s China operations and designed and executed its China market entry strategy. Jinge played a major role in interacting with government officials and customers. Prior to Marquardt, Jinge was a mechanical engineer at Volkswagen in Germany. Jinge holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai. Jinge was born in China and speaks Mandarin, English, and German.
